OneKey launches listing data checker

Listing Data Checker (LDC)is an automated compliance tool designed to help ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of listings entered into OneKey MLS. LDC continuously monitors listings for potential violations of OneKey MLS Rules and Regulations and notifies agents, brokers, and potentially office managers when issues are detected.

By identifying possible errors early, LDC helps maintain the integrity of OneKey MLS data and promotes a consistent experience for agents, brokers, and consumers. It helps reduce the risk of compliance fines for real estate professionals and provides reliable, up-to-date information for informed decision-making for both the real estate community and consumers.

Courtesy period with courtesy notifications

As part of our ongoing commitment to education and data accuracy, OneKey MLS is introducing a Courtesy Period for certain MLS Rule violations. During this period, agents and brokers will receive Courtesy Notifications to help them identify and, in most cases, correct listing errors before a fine is issued. Common examples of LDC Checks are for:

• Missing or incomplete property details (e.g., square footage, zip code, etc.)

• Incorrect or expired listing statuses

• Missing required photos

• Unauthorized contact information or branding in public remarks

The goal of the Courtesy Period is to promote awareness, encourage self-correction, and support a better understanding of MLS Rules and Procedures.

While most violations during the Courtesy Period will not result in a fine, any compensation-related information entered into a data field remains subject to an immediate fine.

What do I do if I receive an LDC courtesy notification?

1. Review the email or in-system notification for details about the flagged issue.

2. Log in to OneKey MLS and locate the listing in question.

3. If you are able to, correct the noted issue as soon as possible to avoid a fine.

4. If you believe a notification was issued in error, follow the appeal process.
