SentriKey requires version update to maintain optimal performance

To improve performance and create a more consistent operating environment SentriLock is requiring an update to the SentriKey app. Important: This change does not require a new device or operating system--only an update to the app itself.

  • Impacted users will receive an in-app notification prompting them to update.

  • Beginning February 2, 2026, users not running version 5.116.0 or higher will be required to update before continuing to use the app.

Keep SentriKey Real Estate app current to avoid disruptions, you may want to enable automatic app updates on your devices to streamline this process.

Living Area Square Feet relabel offers more accurate representation of field value

Living Area SqFt(estimated)relabeled to read Taxable Living Area (GLA)to provide a clearer, more accurate representation of what the field value represents: this value is the assessor's recorded living area for tax purposes, and should match the tax record -- not subjective interpretations of livable space.

The prior labels often lead to confusion because sometimes listing agents entered non-taxable or non-assessor recognized areas (finished basements, attics, enclosed porches, etc.) if they believed those spaces were "livable", creating inconsistencies across listings. Without a precise label, users could mistakenly treat this value as a measured or agent-verified living area, potentially leading to disputes between agents, sellers, and buyers.

Other updated fields:

Sqft Total has been relabeled Building Area Total Sqft

Living Sqft Source has been relabeled as Taxable Living Area (GLA) Source

Sqft Total Source has been relabeled as Building Area Total Sqft Source

Enhanced security brings added peace of mind

Working in partnership with our MLS vendors,OneKey has added additional security to the MLS access process. Why are continuing efforts needed? As bad actors continue to adapt techniques to gain access to identity and other data, our methods of protection must remain one step ahead. The impact to the average user experience will likely be minimal. Some users may experience more frequent requests for a second form of authentication when logging into the MLS when resetting a password, logging in from a new location, or other behaviors that may flag the system to prompt multi-factor authentication (MFA).  Our security partner will learn your behavior over time and less frequent multifactor authentication prompts will occur. As always, we encourage users to keep contact information including preferred email address and cell phone number up-to-date with your association as this information is used as part of multi-factor authentication.
