How AI and MLS Technology Are Transforming Real Estate: Insights From the 2026 LIBOR Education Conference
OneKey® MLS was proud to sponsor and participate in ELEVATE, the Long Island Board of REALTORS® 38th Annual Education Conference and Trade Show on June 10, where industry leaders, technology experts, and real estate professionals came together to explore the trends and tools shaping the future of real estate.
From practical applications of artificial intelligence to member-exclusive resources available through OneKey® MLS, one theme emerged throughout the day: technology works best when it helps REALTORS® spend less time managing tasks and more time serving clients.
Highlighted are some of OneKey®’s most valuable insights from the conference, specifically the OneKey® MLS info track, throughout the day.
OneKey® MLS: More Than an MLS
As OneKey MLS CEO Richard Haggerty kicked off the morning’s keynote, he shared: “We don't see our MLS as a product; we see it as a professional tool and partner.”
This philosophy is reflected in the growing suite of tools available through OneKey® MLS, all designed to help members streamline operations and serve clients more effectively.
Throughout the OneKey® MLS Info Track, employees shared upcoming changes and additions to the OneKey® suite and gave insight on how to optimize the use of our platforms.
AI Should Enhance Expertise, Not Replace It
In his keynote presentation, Unlocking AI: An Intelligent Guide for REALTORS®, philosopher Matthew Ferrara encouraged attendees to move beyond using AI as a content-creation tool, instead viewing it as a strategic business assistant for organizing information, analyzing data, and uncovering insights.
For example, instead of asking AI to generate marketing copy, agents can use it to suggest deeper questions about a property and its potential buyers.
By using AI to build a strategy, agents can better understand their audience and create more compelling, data-driven marketing plans.
The Tools Members Use Every Day Continue to Evolve
OneKey MLS Vice President of Customer Engagement Valerie Stephan and Customer Engagement Outreach and Learning Manager James Gaughan led OneKey®’s first session of the info track, From Listing to Live with OneKey MLS®, highlighting several tools that help streamline daily business operations.
These include:
SentriLock® — The leading electronic lockbox security system for real estate professionals
ShowingTime by OneKey — Easy showing scheduling and property management in one centralized platform
Listing Manager — Add, edit, and share your listings with customers
CheckIT Compliance — Ensures your listing meets all compliance standards before being shared publicly
*NEW OneHomeowner — A personalized hub for clients to access agents, update property info, and maintain relationships long after your sale closes
Valerie and James shared how these tools help real estate professionals streamline their workflow, maximize listing visibility, and improve both the agent and client experience.
The Consumer Connection Is More Important Than Ever
In our final session of the day, Reclaiming the Consumer Connection, Broker Public Portal CEO Dan Troup and past chair of the OneKey® MLS Board of Managers Frank DellAccio, Jr., examined how brokers can step back into a stronger role, much like they once did, by creating better systems for response and connection.
This session highlighted how Broker Public Portal is working to bring consumers closer to the people who create and know the content best, stressing the importance of the human connection so often lost to technological advances in the field.
The conference was the perfect illustration of the importance of collaboration, networking, and collective gathering. The insights shared and innovations previewed provided a glimpse into the future and emphasized the important role real estate professionals play in elevating the industry.
