Richard Haggerty
Chief Executive Officer
Richard Haggerty is a New Yorker whose resilience and resourcefulness have defined a distinguished career spanning more than four decades in organized real estate. He has served in leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels of the National Association of REALTORS®, as well as at two multiple listing services.
His national service includes the Association Executive Committee and Professional Standards Committee. He is additionally part of the National Association of REALTORs MLS Policies and Issues Committee, MLS Technology and Emerging Issues Committee, and serves on Council of MLSs (CMLS) board.
Recognized for his industry impact, Richard has been named to the Swanepoel Top 200 list of the most powerful and influential executives in residential real estate. Additional accolades include being named a 2024-26 Long Island Business Influencer, 2025 Inman MLS Reinvented Trailblazer, 2026 Inman MLS Power Executive, and 2026 inductee into the RISMedia Newsmakers Hall of Fame.
A steadfast advocate for homeownership, Richard was inducted into the Dr. Almon R. (Bud) Smith, RCE, AE Leadership Society of the National Association of REALTORS® in 2015.
As Chief Executive Officer of OneKey® MLS, he led the organization’s inception and strategic growth, positioning it to serve more than 43,000 real estate professionals across the diverse Metropolitan New York market. Under his leadership, OneKey® MLS continues to evolve to meet the demands of a competitive, fast-paced industry--notably through the 2023 acquisition of Mid-Hudson MLS, and plans for upcoming data partnerships that increase listing visibility and searchability for their customers.
Described by peers as a thoughtful visionary, Richard is known for his integrity, engaged listening, and ability to align diverse perspectives toward common goals. A respected national and state instructor and speaker, he combines insight, clarity, and approachability in every forum. His leadership is grounded in performance, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to the professionals and consumers his organization serves.
